"Yoga serves the individual, and does so through inviting transformation" (T.K.V. Desikachar).

I have been practicing yoga enthusiastically for over 10 years, and have experienced direct benefits from this ancient but timeless philosophy on many different levels. Over time, yoga helped me cope with the stresses of our modern lifestyle - physically, mentally and emotionally. More recently I have also been enjoying pre-natal yoga and its wonderful effects on the pregnant body.

Following the Hatha Yoga tradition of strength and flexibility, I share with my students a flowing asana practice that is both energising and uplifting, with a strong emphasis on breathing and its therapeutic qualities. Safety and individual attention are at the core of my teaching.

Initially trained in England with the Yoga Academy, I continue to deepen my learning and practice of yoga with well-respected international teachers. My heartfelt gratitude goes to Simon Low, Simona Hernandez and Sue Delf for initiating me in the teaching of this wonderful art. T.K.V. Desikachar, Paul Grilley, Howard Napper and John Friend, among others, have had the greatest influence on my development and style.
